Deadhead OG Marijuana Strain Review

Indica, Sativa or Hybrid? (and what that means)
Deadhead OG is a HYBRID strain which means it’s a blend of a Sativa and Indica. Sativas tend to be more inspiring and uplifting, while Indicas tend to be more “stony” and relaxing. While on paper it would be a sativa dominant hybrid, I would treat this more as an indica dominant hybrid because it comes on stony at the beginning and then settles into inspirational.

THC & CBD
The average THC levels in Deadhead OG are around 18%-22% and CBD .1%-.2%.

Aroma and Taste
DeadheadOG has a mixture of piney, citrusy and minty aromas with a little bit of the earthy coming out stronger on the flavor end.

What Makes It Popular

Deadhead OG is a strain for people who really enjoy hybrids. It’s got great terpenes and comes on strong and stony upfront. But a nice bit of inspiration will follow. So while we recommend this as a “stay home strain” it can turn into a nice productive evening at home too. Perhaps grab your guitar? It’s worth a shot.

Medical Benefits
Medically patients say DeadheadOG is a good strain migraines, pain and insomnia. Some PTSD patients report this one brings relief to their symptoms as well.

Summation
If you’re looking for an inspired night on the couch, this may be your ticket. Not too stony and will leave you the option of either sitting on the couch, or playing your guitar all night.

Scojo67 here and while I’m more of an Alman Bros fan, I’m definitely a Deadhead with this strain.

Deadhead OG has a wonderful minty, citrusy aroma and much to my excitement, the flavor is just as amazing.

You get a pretty quick indica hit off this one right away. In other words, it comes on fairly stony up front. But I did enjoy a nice mental pick me up and was able to think clearly through a bit Jerry Garcia inspired haze. That being said, I’d mainly recommend this as a stay home strain.

Give this strain a try for stress, PTSD or pain relief.
